In this dream workshop, we will learn how to practice interpreting our own dreams according to the work of Dr. Carl Jung and Dr. Eugene Gendlin.

Leslie Joren Wagner is a practicing Zen Buddhist, certified Reiki Teacher and has been interpreting dreams for 20 years. She first began dream interpretation during her training as a Zen student after which she encountered the art of Focusing which “shows one how to apply open attention to something which is directly experienced but is not in words.” Focusing*, which was created by Dr. Eugene Gendlin is a form of psychological body felt-sense training. Leslie Joren has developed this exercise in tandem with the dream work of Dr. Carl Jung to refine her Zen meditation and Reiki practices.

The intention of this Dream Workshop is to offer a method to those people who would seek to understand their unique Self through developing a personal dream vocabulary, sensing their own truths through body awareness, questioning, discussion and writing. We will explore how dreams can bring our own wisdom into our waking world. There will be a brief aspect of meditation, breathing techniques and body centering.
